Bharat Ratna award:-

             The Bharat Ratna is the highest civilian award of the Republic of India. It was instituted in 1954 and is awarded for "exceptional service/performance of the highest order" in any field of human endeavor. The award is not restricted to Indian citizens and has been awarded to non-Indians in the past, including Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan. The award, which can be awarded posthumously, consists of a medal and a certificate signed by the President of India. The award does not carry any monetary grant. The number of annual awards is restricted to a maximum of three. The first Bharat Ratna award-winner woman was Indira Gandhi. The Bharat Ratna Award was denied by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He led the independence movement and served as India’s first Education Minister.

           There is no Bharat Ratna award given in 2020 and 2021. So, we have not received any Bharat Ratna 2021 winners. No One received the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, for 2022.
